Cubs and Scouts Cadbury World

This Saturday, Cubs and Scouts went on a visit to Cadbury World in Birmingham. Cubs and Scouts went on a tour of the famous factory to see how chocolate is made.

Cubs – Kinver Camp

This weekend, Cubs enjoyed a weekend at Kinver Scout Camp, staying in the Chief’s Log Cabin. They took part in a wide range of activities including rifle shooting, archery on Sunday and a water slide and visit to a local park on the Saturday. Despite the rain on the Friday night, a great time was had by all.

This weekend, Cubs stayed at the Chief’s Log Cabin at Kinver Scout Camp. They took part in activities including Climbing and Rifle Shooting. During the weekend cubs also had the opportunity to participate in Jamboree on the Air activities.

District Sponsored Walk

This morning, around 100 Beavers, Cubs and Scouts from groups across the district took part in a sponsored walk at Baggeridge Country Park. The group hopes to raise as much money as possible from the 7 mile walk. If all members of the group could raise just £10 in sponsorship, we would have nearly £1000! There will be a prize for the most money raised for each section.

Cubs Win District Swimming Gala

On Saturday 4th October 2008, Scouts and Cubs attended the District Swimming Gala. The Cubs had a very strong team and won first prize. Well done to all involved!
