| April 1980 | Sections first meet. |
| 1st June 1980 | Group Registration form was signed by the District Executive Committee and sent to HQ. |
| 29th July 1980 | 3rd Wombourne (Methodist) Scout Group was officially registered at Headquarters. Click to view our original Registration Form. |
| August 1980 | First Summer camp help. Joint camp with 3rd Sedgley at Cader Idris, Wales. |
| 1982 | Barry Eyre takes over as Scout Leader. |
| 1985 | Beaver Colony Started. |
| 1985 | Venture Scout Unit Started. |
| 1986 | Chief Scout visits our camp. |
| 1987 | Tim Higgs becomes our first Queen’s Scout. |
| 1987 | Derek Parker takes over as Scout Leader |
| Summer 1990 | Scouts attend International Camp at Chatsworth Park, Derbyshire. |
| 1990 | Venture Scout Unit comes under District control. |
| 1991 | Nigel Mills takes over as Scout Leader. |
| 1991 | Sue Moyle takes over as Beaver Scout Leader. |
| 1995 | Julian Knight takes over as Cub Scout Leader. |
| 1996 | Paul Cartwright takes over as Scout Leader. |
| 1996 | Darryl Poultney takes over as Scout Leader. |
| 2000 | Bill Moorhouse takes over as Group Chairman |
| 2001 | Mark Corbett takes over as Group Scout Leader. |
| 2002 | Jayne Pountney takes over as Beaver Scout Leader. |
| Dec 2002 – Jan 2003 | Group sends 3 Scouts to 20th World Scout Jamboree, Thailand. |
| 2003 | Stuart Playford takes over as Scout Leader. |
| 2006 | Group moves into Mill Lane Scouting Centre. |
| 2006 | Vicky Bratt takes over as Cub Scout Leader. |
| 2007 | Group joins in Centenary of Scouting Celebrations. |
| April 2007 | Group skiing trip to Austria to celebrate Centenary of Scouting |
| July 2007 | Group sends 7 Scouts to the 21st World Scout Jamboree, UK. |
| Janaury 2008 | Henry Cleaver takes over as Scout Leader. |
| January 2008 | Stuart Playford takes over as Group Scout Leader. |
| September 2009 | Mark Corbett takes over as Group Chairman |
| September 2009 | Hut renovations completed in time for District AGM held at the hut. Visit by new County Commissioner Paul Wong. |
| 5th November 2009 | Group mourns loss of Bill Moorhouse, ex Group Chairman. |
| December 2009 | Darryl Poultney takes over as Group Scout Leader |
| 2010 | Group Celebrates 30th Anniversary |
| 16 – 18 July 2010 | 30th Anniversary Family Camp, Beaudesert. |
| July – August 2011 | Robert McNally, a Scout from the group attends 22nd World Scout Jamboree in Sweden. |
| 21 – 28 July 2012 | Cubs & Scouts Summer Camp, Lake Vyrnwy, Wales. |
| 20 – 27 July 2013 | Cubs & Scouts Summer Camp, Downe Scout Activity Centre, Kent |
| 2015 | Group Celebrates 35th Anniversary |
| 18 – 25 July 2015 | Cubs & Scouts Summer Camp, Huish Woods Scout Camp, Taunton |
| 28 July – 8 August 2015 | Scouts from the group attend 22nd World Scout Jamboree in Japan. Dan Perks, James Platten, Ryan Champion, Haydn Willetts. |
| 22 – 25 July 2016 | Scouts Summer Camp at Aztec Adventure Upton Warren, Bromsgrove |
| July 2017 | Group Scout Leader Daz Poultney appointed District Commissioner for Wolverhampton South District |
| July 2019 | Six Scouts from the group attend the 23rd World Scout Jamboree in United States of America. Harry Sixsmith, Jakob Slater-Morris, Georgina Evanson, Matthew Perks, Jasmyn Slater-Morris, Edward Mooore, |
| July 2019 | Group celebrates 40th Anniversary. |
| March 2020 | The COVID-19 pandemic causes Scouting within the group to move online. There are some brief spells where face to face meetings take place but the majority of the year is carried out on Zoom, with no camps taking place. The group 40th Anniversary camp in May is cancelled. |
| September 2021 | The group started it’s Squirrel Scout section at the start of The Scouts national rollout, as the first in the District. Tania Timmins becomes Squirrel Scout Leader. |
| August 2023 | Scouts from the group attend the 24th World Scout Jamboree in South Korea. Izzie Paston-Dodsworth, Hannah Evanson, Natalya Jones, Rosie Cooke. |
| May 2025 | The group celebrates it’s 24th Anniversary, with a whole group activity weekend at Kinver Scout Camp. Squirrels and Beavers attended for both days, and Cubs and Scouts camped. |
| September 2026 | Squirrels celebrates it’s 5th birthday. |
